Welcome to Virtua Gallery II

Starting a secondary Blog - is a venture, that I don’t quite know if it will work out. My Main Blog - Virtua Gallery - occupies time and effort, but due to his dynamics, elements of what I want to show in general might left behind somewhat.
So this site is the one where I try to create my Life Lists, of Animals I shoot, as well to be the one harboring my Signature Series shots. Signature Series is sort of a best of kind of thing.
Most definitely however, kjpweb.com will not be updated as frequently as the Parent site - I target one to two post weekly, after the initial "flurry" of content.
I will start out with a fascinating find, which is not only a first for me, but from what I heard, it is something, that many never have seen. The Luna Moth is a gigantic Moth - as large as your hand and very beautiful. And - that is the sadder part of it - it also is highly endangered. This specific "bird" I actually captured (and released it of course) at the most unlikely of places.
I found it at the Icebox of a Gas Station. Obviously completely out of it’s depth and normal environment it was terrified, abandoning its normal behavior and just sitting there, entirely unmovable.
Using a paper bag I coached it inside and placed it in the fridge for about 5 minutes, to make it less active. Then I got my gear together and freed it in the backyard that offers plenty of places to go to. First place it ventured to was a wooden fence.
There it clung to a post and did what I falsely interpreted as shivering… But on closer examination it actually laid eggs.
